It makes me think of The Velvet Underground's Venus in Furs, what with the droning regularity of middle eastern-inspired psychedelia. If you start thinking about lyrical comparisons, you might find an essay starting to develop, but I'll at least say that both seem to have, at the core, the black hole of obsessive longing. (That's a black hole in an astrological sense.) A
